An original mid-century armchair, restored for contemporary use. Designed by Edmund Homa, and manufactured in 1960s.
Edmund Homa studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under Ole Wanscher and became one of Poland’s most recognised mid-century designers, known for clarity of form, craftsmanship, and understated elegance.
This armchair has been carefully restored and upholstered in olive green bouclé using OEKO-TEX® certified fabric. Its proportions, gently angled back and low seat create a relaxed, easy lounge profile.
Free fabric samples can be provided on request, free of charge.
Made to order: This piece is restored and upholstered to order. The process takes approximately 4–5 weeks. We’ll keep you updated as the work progresses.
Condition: Frames are carefully selected in sound structural condition and carefully refinished. Occasional, very subtle signs of age may remain, consistent with the nature of vintage pieces. New upholstery, including foam and support materials, is fitted to ensure comfort and durability.

An original armchair by Czech designer Jindřich Halabala, with the characteristic curved bentwood arms for which his designs are known.
Designed in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s, the chair reflects influences of both Art Deco and Bauhaus design. Generously proportioned and exceptionally comfortable, it was designed as a proper lounge chair rather than an occasional seat.
Made to order:
This chair is restored to order from an original vintage Halabala frame. The frame is carefully restored and refinished before the chair is completely reupholstered.
The photographs show one of our previously restored chairs. Your chair will be restored to the same standard and upholstered in the yellow velvet shown, unless an alternative fabric is selected.
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for restoration.
Upholstery:
Shown here in a rich yellow velvet, with completely renewed upholstery, including new foam and support materials. The fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified.
The chair can also be upholstered in a fabric of your choice. Fabric samples are available on request.

Couldn’t be happier with my chair from Mobelco. I supplied my own fabric and Inga supplied the frame. I was a bit unsure about what finish to go for on the wood but I sent a few photos of the room and Inga matched it perfectly to some other pieces of furniture. Although it’s mainly a decorative piece of furniture, I had a sit on it and it is super comfortable. All in all, a superb service from initial enquiry through to delivery. Inga was responsive to emails and provided regular updates. I would have no hesitation recommending Mobelco to anybody or ordering another piece of furniture in the future.
