An original mid-century armchair with a relaxed, easy lounge profile, restored for contemporary use. Designed by Edmund Homa and manufactured in 1960s.

Edmund Homa studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under Ole Wanscher and became one of Poland’s most recognised mid-century designers, known for clarity of form, craftsmanship, and understated elegance.

This armchair has been carefully restored and upholstered in chocolate brown bouclé using OEKO-TEX® certified fabric. Its proportions, gently angled back and low seat create a relaxed, easy lounge profile.

Fabric samples can be provided on request to help you confirm the finish in your own space.

Designed by Zenon Baczyk in the 1960s, an architect as well as a furniture designer. His work reflects a clear understanding of proportion and posture, giving the chair a natural and well-balanced feel.

The low seat and gently reclined back create a relaxed lounge position that works well in everyday use.

Juliusz Kędziorek (b. 1930s) was a Polish architect and designer, graduating in 1955 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. His work reflects the elegance and practicality of mid-century design, with a focus on clean lines, refined proportions, and thoughtful construction.

This armchair and footstool were designed in the 1960s by Polish designer Edmund Homa. He was a scholarship recipient at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Ole Wanscher. Homa's entire body of work has been honoured with the highest national awards.

This elegant mid-century set has been fully restored and upholstered in our workshop in a beautiful cream boucle fabric. Free fabric samples are available.

The armchair comes complete with a matching Edmund Homa footstool, creating a timeless and comfortable seating set.
